About Classroomscreen

We make it easier for teachers and students to get the best out of each other.

Our story

As a science teacher in The Netherlands, Laurens Koppers had the hypothesis that his students were more engaged when they knew what was expected during class.

Like any good science teacher, he started experimenting on them with simple digital tools to make his instructions clearer. Not only did it work, other teachers asked to use it.

So Laurens built a simple website they could use with clear work symbols, a text box, and a timer. But the more they used it, the more help he needed to build on the valuable feedback the teachers were sharing.

Luckily, his neighbor Sebastiaan knew a thing or two about building secure and interactive web applications. The two good neighbors quickly found out they’d be even better colleagues, and they’ve been designing, improving, and redesigning, Classroomscreen ever since.

Our mission

Our mission is to support teachers worldwide during the key moments in the classroom when real impact is made. Because we are passionate about education, and about helping teachers thrive. We understand both the beauty and challenges of teaching and that you deserve tools that are as flexible and engaging as you are. By listening closely to your feedback, we design intuitive software that lets you focus on what you do best — teaching.
