About this template

This space-themed version of the classic game Hangman is perfect for as a brain break or a fun end-of-school activity!

How to play

Either you or a student secretly selects a word or phrase suitable for the students' age and skill level. This word is kept hidden from the rest of the class.

Students take turns guessing letters they think are in the word. Each correct guess reveals the letter in its correct position(s) within the word. For each incorrect guess, a part of the alien is selected and added to the alien's body.

The drawing begins with the alien’s basic body shape and then adds features like eyes, antennae, arms, legs, and more. The goal is to guess the word before the alien is fully constructed.

The game ends when either the alien is fully built (the game master wins) or the students guess the entire word before the alien is completed (the students win). Enjoy creating your alien!
