About this template

This template helps children understand the concept of time, sequence events correctly, and grasp temporal concepts like yesterday, today, tomorrow, next week, and last week.

How it works

Each day, reset the names of the days previously used by moving them back to an open space.

During the morning meeting, discuss with students what day it was yesterday, and drag the correct name of the day to the "Yesterday was" section. Then, discuss what day it is today and move the correct day to the "Today is" section. Finally, discuss what day it will be tomorrow and drag the correct name to the "Tomorrow is" section.

You can also engage children in a discussion about what happens on each day, such as not coming to school on Saturdays and enjoying time with family or starting the school week on Monday. This routine helps children develop a better understanding of time, days of the week, and event sequencing, which are essential for their cognitive development.
