How do Teams work?

Each teacher has a personal workspace

  • All screens made here are private, only accessible by that teacher.
  • Teachers can still share individual screen decks from their private workspace, but the receiver will get a duplicate version of it rather than sharing the same version.

Shared name lists

Within a team, teachers share name lists. This is a great feature as every class in the school can be entered once and accessed by any teacher who needs it - perfect for subbing or co-teaching!

Easy team management

Managing who has access to each team is easy, with simple admin controls to invite or remove members. When teachers leave your Organization account, they will also lose access to all team screen decks and materials.

Keep your data safe within your Organization

Teams ensures that all name lists, screens, and images are securely stored within your Organization’s account. Even if a teacher leaves, the team retains access — maintaining privacy, continuity, and full control over your educational data.

  • What can I share with others in a Classroomscreen Team?

Within a Classroomscreen Team, you can share lesson screens, screen decks, name lists, and backgrounds. Everyone in the team has access to the same visual setup and resources, ensuring a consistent and unified classroom experience across multiple teachers or classes.

  • How do I create a new Team in Classroomscreen?

Creating a new Team is easy. From your dashboard, click the “team picker,” then choose “Create a new team.” You can add a team name, description, and even choose an icon and color for easy recognition. After that, invite colleagues from your organization to start collaborating right away.

  • Can I invite anyone to my Classroomscreen Team?

You can invite any colleague who has an account within the same organization. This ensures that collaboration stays secure and organized. External users outside your organization cannot be added to your team, keeping your school’s shared materials private and protected.

  • How does Classroomscreen Teams improve collaboration in schools?

Classroomscreen Teams helps schools streamline collaboration by giving multiple teachers access to the same lesson screens, name lists, and visuals. Whether teachers co-teach, share grade-level materials, or rotate classes, everyone can easily work from the same set of classroom resources.

  • What happens to shared content if a teacher leaves the organization?

All content shared within a Team—like screens, name lists, and backgrounds—remains securely stored within the organization, not tied to individual users. If a teacher leaves, the content stays available to the rest of the team, ensuring continuity and safeguarding valuable lesson materials.

  • Can I switch between different Teams in Classroomscreen?

Yes! You can easily switch between Teams using the “team picker” on your dashboard. With one click, you can move from your personal team to a collaborative team or create a new one. This makes managing multiple classes or departments quick and convenient.

  • How does Classroomscreen ensure data security for Teams?

Data security is a key feature of Classroomscreen Teams. All shared content is stored within the organization’s account, not tied to individual users. This structure ensures that your data stays protected and under school ownership, even if staff members come and go.

  • What happens if my organization account is not renewed?

If your organization account is not renewed, your Teams will appear in a disabled state in the team picker. A warning message will appear to make it clear that your organization no longer has active Teams access. Once re-upgraded, your Teams will be restored with all shared content intact.

  • How do Classroomscreen Teams make lesson sharing easier?

Classroomscreen Teams allow multiple teachers to share and reuse classroom screens effortlessly. Since all team members have access to the same screens and backgrounds, you can easily co-create, adapt, or present shared lessons without needing to manually transfer files or recreate setups.
