Looking for a creative way to help students memorize chemical element symbols? This Periodic table bingo game makes symbol recognition fun and memorable.
How to play
- Have students fill out their Bingo cards with chemical symbols from either the embedded 'Elements song' or from their notes.
- Use the randomizer to call out element names.
- Students mark the matching symbol if it's on their card.
- First student to get 4 in a row shouts "BINGO!"
note:
The Randomizer widget currently contains all elements. If you are teaching younger students who may not know all of them, just head into the widget settings to edit the list.
