With a Classroomscreen Organization subscription, teachers who have an active Organization Pro account will be able to start sharing resources and working together with other colleagues.
Manage access and adjust Team preferences when they invite colleagues to a group.
Work together by utilizing Team resources like Screens/decks, Name lists, and Backgrounds.
important:
Only teachers within the same Organization can be added to one another's teams (keeping collaboration secure and organized). See more on security below.
In the sidebar of the dashboard, just below the Classroomscreen logo, teachers can choose to create a new team, move from team to team, or stay in their own space.
Create a new team
Click on the 'Team picker' to expand your view and choose where you want to be.
Select the 'Create new team' button.
Determine the name, description, and icon color, and then add team members.
It's also possible to search for colleagues and adjust roles from 'Editor' to 'Admin'.
tip:
If a colleague isn't in the list, ask an Admin to invite them!
Move between teams or stay in your own workspace
Click on the 'Team picker' to expand your view and choose where you want to be.
tip:
The Team picker will show an 'Inactive Team' notice in an inaccessible state if the Organization subscription has expired or if Pro accounts aren't available, and a warning will be displayed.
Everyone in the team works in the same visual space with the same tools. This makes sharing materials and classroom screens effortless — perfect for schools where multiple teachers prepare or reuse lessons together.

important:
If you do not want anyone to modify the screen you are working in while within a team, make a copy and move it to your personal workspace.
All Team data (Screens, Backgrounds, Name lists, etc.) is stored within the Organization, not tied to any teacher account. If a teacher leaves an Organization, the data remains safely stored within the Team. This ensures the Organization keeps control and continuity over shared content — even when members change. This makes Teams especially useful for schools, where teachers or staff may change regularly but lesson materials need to stay available.
