With a Pro account, you can store unlimited different background images. Backgrounds can be managed in your dashboard and also in the widget screen by clicking on the background icon in the widget bar.

Managing your backgrounds

note:

If you are a Basic user or use Classroomscreen without an account, you can still upload backgrounds to use on your screen - they just will not be saved.

Upload backgrounds

In the dashboard, you can upload GIF, PNG, and JPG files (up to 25 MB) by going to the Backgrounds section of your dashboard (on the left side of the screen) and clicking on the purple "+" button. From the background widget on your widget screen, you can click the '+' button.

Edit backgrounds

From the widget settings, you can click 'Manage uploaded backgrounds' to modify the images in your dashboard. If you select a background, you can adjust the display (rotation and border) or delete the image by pressing the trash can icon. You can also toggle the Multi-select button on to enable you to choose multiple images at once

tip:

You can use the Contain option to add borders to your image; you can choose between white, gray, dark gray, or blur. When the Cover options is chosen, the image has no borders and appears to cover the screen completely.

Sort backgrounds

The background images can be sorted in your dashboard; just click and drag them around to reorder your display based on preference.

Starred backgrounds

If you have a Basic or Pro account, you can click on the 'Star' to mark a background as a favorite. The backgrounds that you star are then placed above all other images in the widget screen, so you can quickly find your favorites without having to scroll.

Managing your images

When you activate the Image widget, files can be easily uploaded to your screen. By clicking on the settings, once the widget opens, you can manage any pictures you want to display on your screen.

update:

From January 2026, there is no more limit for the number of images uploaded for the Pro users

Upload images

Via the widget settings, you can upload images and access the images that have already been uploaded. Drag and drop a file or click the 'Upload your files' text link to get started!

important:

Supported image files include GIF, PNG, and JPG files (up to 25 MB).

Edit images

You can click on the double-sided arrow at the bottom of the widget to spin it around! This way, you can modify the angle of display for an image, anywhere from 0 - 360 degrees.

Deleting images

If you want to delete images from your account, click on the 'Enable' button at the bottom of the settings panel. Once enabled, a trash can icon will appear on each picture, and you can click on it to remove an image.
