If you are encountering irregular occurrences when using Classroomscreen on your smart board, sometimes the problem can be solved when moving ahead with the steps below.
Check if your smartboard has installed the latest software update. You will also need to have a supported browser that is up to date too, which you can check here. Another helpful tip: close other apps or tabs running in the background.
Once you have done this, clear your cache and cookies, fully close the browser, then reopen it and try again.
note:
If you have the Classroomscreen app added as a shortcut on your smartboard, remove the pinned app and open Classroomscreen directly in the browser (then you can add it again later if needed).
If things still aren’t working as they should, try another browser to see if the issue persists. You should also try using Classroomscreen in private/incognito mode to rule out browser plugin issues.
Restarting your device might also help! Give that a go if trying another browser does not fix it.
tip:
Are your widgets moving unexpectedly? Switch to a fixed aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) and reposition the widgets as the ‘fill screen’ setting may cause shifting or distortion.
Most clickers/remotes should work with the Classroomscreen app. You may need to ensure that your keyboard shortcuts are enabled, depending on the brand or model of your accessory.
