How the Webcam widget works

The Webcam widget allows you to easily display a live video feed in a small window on your screen. This widget is perfect for showing your students something in real-time, whether it’s a demonstration, a lesson, or just a more personal touch to your virtual class.

Widget settings

  • The two buttons on the left side of the widget allow you to flip the camera image either horizontally or vertically, which is useful for making sure text or images appear correctly to students.
  • You can also adjust the angle of your webcam feed by clicking the double-sided arrow at the bottom of the widget. Rotate the camera anywhere from 0 - 180 degrees for the perfect angle.
  • If you have multiple webcams connected to your device, you can choose the one you want to use through the widget’s settings. This ensures you're using the right camera for your lesson, whether it's a laptop webcam or a document camera.
